Many of the new year resolutions people set are for personal change. Anytime someone does something to improve themselves or their quality of life is an admirable trait that hopefully is done more regularly than on a annual basis.
WHERE AM I GOING WITH THIS????????
HOW ABOUT WE SET A NEW YEARS RESOLUTION THAT INCLUDES ANOTHER PERSON THAT COULD BENEFIT FROM IT?
We look out for ourselves and/or family first (hopefully) all year long….. I’m saying that maybe a new year resolution should be something that applies to benefit another person or cause. Use your imagination of the potential outcome this action could have. It might not be so easy to give up knowing that somebody else is involved with the outcome of your action. If you make some change that helps somebody else think how rewarding that could be! Now apply that to your community, neighbor, friend, or if everybody did that as their resolution!
DON’T GET DISTRACTED OR OVERWHELMED BY THE BIG PICTURE! JUST FOCUS ON APPLYING IT TO 1 OTHER BESIDES YOURSELF.
Success on the New Year’s resolution will not only be more attainable it also be collectively supported.
Just a random idea.
